Hello!
Hi! I'm Hannah, a travel writer and copywriter who helps brands tell grounded stories rooted in place and human connection. My work favors sensory detail over hype and clarity over clutter. Grounded in the details, I write copy that notices the small things, morning light, first coffee, local voices, then turns them into pages that welcome audiences in and convert.
All About Me

Hey there!

I'm so glad you're here.

My journey as a writer began the usual way: a well-worn journal, an overstuffed bookshelf, and a lifelong curiosity about people and place. Professionally, I’ve been writing for over a decade. I've written for start-ups, nonprofits, marketing agencies, and more. No matter who I've written for, I've always focused on stories that feel like arrival. Think morning light in a quiet lobby, the good cup of coffee, a local voice that shifts how a person sees a place.
Travel shaped how I write. I studied in the UK, traveled slowly through Bali, and spent three years living and traveling on the road across the United States. I grew up in Maine and live in Washington State now, surrounded by water, mountains, amazing coffee, and good bookstores. Those miles taught me that stories do not need to be loud. They need to be authentic.
I care about stories rooted in people and place. That means sensory detail over hype and clarity over clutter. It also means a calm process. We set goals, map the content, and keep the workflow simple, so you can breathe easy knowing I've got you covered.
Results in plain language matter too. Clients have seen more people find them on Google, more readers stay on the page, and stronger rankings for the phrases that count. One team doubled its organic traffic. Another brought in hundreds of new visitors from a single long-form piece.
When I’m not writing, I’m probably nose-deep in a good book, scouring thrift stores, planning a trip, or attempting to pack light and failing. I’m endlessly inspired by slow mornings, well-made coffee, and stories that stay with you long after the page ends.
If that resonates, you’re in the right place.
